Q: Do you have a studio?

A: Yes, CjDuncan Photography has two studio locations, our original studio and the new studio warehouse.  The classic studio also features a 1 acre portrait garden.

Q: Can we go on-location and to the studio(s)?

A: Yes. The Senior style and Seasons sessions include both studios and locations of your choice. It's the best of both worlds.

Q: Can we go any where we want?

A: Yes. Your family ranch, a favorite coffee shop, the stadium or anywhere else you love to be. Travel fees may apply to locations more than 35 miles from the studio.

Q: What does the session include?

A: Your senior photography session includes: a planning session, 1-3 hours with master photographer (and chief fun maker) Cris Duncan, romancing of your images and a preview party.

Q: Are digital files or prints included with the session fee?

A: No. Print(s) and/or digital files and all products are priced and sold separately from the session fee. You can click here to view the full list of product offerings.

Q: Does the session fee go towards my package?

A: No. The session fee is separate from your package. We have collections that start at $450 as well as Al-a-carte options.

Q: Are the images edited?

A: Rest assured, your senior pictures will be beautiful. Cris know how to photograph you in a way that will make you shine--and stand out from the crowd. Each image will be reviewed and romanced for the best color, contrast, presentation and/or black and white conversion by a CjDuncan artist. This preview image is what you will see at your portrait preview.

Q: Do you retouch(airbrush) the images.

A: Yes. Every image that your purchase as a portrait is fully finished by a CjDuncan artist. Our retouching process can remove blemishes, wrinkles, brighten eyes, whiten teeth, thin face/body, smooth skin and remove stray hairs or distracting objects. Any Portraits or Individual Digital files purchased will be delivered with this service. NOTE: If you select the USB Flash Drive option, those images will be preview images. Any image that is purchased in a print format will have the full CjDuncan finishing process.

Q:  Do you do composites or advanced Photoshop

A: Yes we can. Each session is different and every senior has a different story. During your consultation we will determine the best course of action to make sure you have the pictures you want. CjDuncan can do advanced composites(blending of images), montages(several images on one canvas) and advanced retouching(brace removal). Art fees may apply

Q: What do I wear?

A: We want you to look your best. Each session includes a free consultation where we will offer wardrobe and location recommendations based upon your look and style. We are here to make your senior experience easy and stress free.

Q: How many outfits can I bring?

A: Most will bring a minimum of 3 outfits. We will help you with how many looks you will need based upon your session type and wish list. It is always better to bring more than you need, we will help you pick the best one.

Q: What else do I bring?

A: This will depend upon what we plan for your senior adventure. Some people will literally bring suitcases of clothes, shoes and fun. The simple answer is that you can bring anything--your four legged best friend, your two legged bestie, your cow, your pig, your basketball, your collection of toms, pet rocks or even your rowdy rag. The most important thing to bring is a spirit of adventure

Q: Do you offer cap and gown pictures?

A: Yes, we can photograph you in your cap and gown. We have caps and gowns for most Lubbock area schools. If you have special honor stoles, tassels or other regalia, you will need to furnish those pieces.

Q: When do we need to do this?

A: It can never be too early to have your senior session, but it can be too late. In West Texas, summer and fall are ideal.  This way you avoid the WIND and most of all, you have all year to enjoy your images.  As a bonus, if you do a summer or fall session, you can come back to the studio in the spring for a complimentary single-look session.

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: Believe me, we understand. Things change. One thing we can depend on is that we can't depend on the weather, luckily, we have an awesome studio location that allows us to photograph your session regardless of the atmospheric temperaments. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you can do so at no charge with 48 hours advance notice

Q: Can I afford it?

A: The answer is Yes! Collections begin at $450 and we offer convenient payment plans. We accept all major credit cards as well.
